January 30th, 2007 - the big show - Christopher Bollyn gets to tell his side of the story... :D

I decided to do some stats, to illustrate how the MSM manufactures consent, and what Bollyn - or anyone else on this side of "trusted" is up against.

Since this subject is not debated here (what's to debate?), I thought to put the obvious on record for our 'cunning' friends to get a reality check - we know. In fact, we knew long before your toygoys started to blow the smoke.

We called the "Baker - Hamilton" side show a side show, imagine. This controlled opposition schtick is getting really worn and transparent - we see.

We called the 'surge' debate phony as a treasury bill, because the actual "Baghdad Surge" happened last year, when you had no choice but to withdraw the troops from everywhere North to shorten the indefensible supply line (850 miles, nuts), and to defend that ridiculous "Green Zone" as best as you can - we know.

We know that the "international finance" scam is inches before hitting the inevitable brick wall. IMF going broke because no one but you most loony servants (great powers like the Marschall Islands, etc.), is 'borrowing' themselves into slavedom, not to mention the Petrodollar quickly becoming the Twinkydollar - we can count.

We saw how absolutely fearsome all those shiny toys perform against IEDs and some determination Lately 'highly sophisticated" IEDs needing Iranian "specialists" no less, forgetabout the "improvised" part of this high tech weapons system" (cracks me up every time I hear some 'expert' awing about it) - we laugh at that too.

So, basically all you have left is attempting to start a global blood letting, a.s.a.p. or the World will see you hang from that tree (poetic, no?)

What if we don't play?

Sue's Place / Weapons of Math Instruction

No clue who to credit.

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual, later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator.

At a morning press conference, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult, "Gonzales said. They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value.

They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as unknowns, but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

Report: IAF wiped out Hezbollah long-range missiles during war

By Aluf Benn, Haaretz Correspondent
Last update - 03:35 24/10/2006

The Israel Air Force destroyed 59 intermediate and long-range missile launchers in the Hezbollah arsenal during the second day of the war in Lebanon, during a raid that lasted 34 minutes, according to research recently published by David Makovsky and Jeffrey White of the Washington Institute of Near East Policy[/b].

The success of the raid was the greatest Israel Defense Forces achievement during the war, and according to Israeli assessments, it prevented Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah, from being able to carry out his threats and strike central Israel with missiles.

The air attack of 13 July struck the Zelzal and Fajr missiles in the Hezbollah arsenal, both made in Iran. The range of the Zelzal can endanger the Tel Aviv area from Lebanon.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and senior IDF officers prided themselves for the success of this air raid.

Olmert described it as "an impressive, perhaps unprecedented, achievement," and his aides went as far as to compare it to the destruction of Arab air forces during the first day of fighting in the Six-Day War, in 1967.

However, to date, details of the operation remain unclear, and official sources in Israel avoid specifying the precise nature of the target and the results of the strike.

Israeli officers had said during the war that the "34 minute operation" was based on accurate information from Military Intelligence that enabled the pinpointing of the missile launchers. The AIF had trained for several years for such an operation, and the operational plans were presented on several occasions to former Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz.

Comment: Do I have to?
Nazrallah was 'prevented' by the Izzies NOT bombing central Beiruth, his clearly stated "red line" for firing at TelAviv. Unbelievable garbage, but not unexpected. Watch for the movie "The 34 Minute Operation", starring an aging but scientologically correct Tom Cruise, and coming soon to a theater near you.
Oh, and despite 'the research' allowing for the stunning success, the details remain unclear, except for the precise details of the targets hit - details...

UN, Israeli tanks in brief face-off in south Lebanon
Thu Sep 28, 12:04 PM ET

MARWAHEEN, Lebanon (AFP) - UN and Israeli tanks have been involved in a brief face-off on a road in southern Lebanon where the Israeli army has been setting up checkpoints.

Four French Leclerc tanks with UN peacekeepers moved up the hill to stand 500 meters (yards) from the entrance to the border village of Marwaheen, as two Israeli Merkava tanks operated nearby on Lebanese soil.

Standing some 50 meters from each other, the tanks were locked in a 20-minute face-off, the first between the Israeli army and the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which has been boosted to oversee the current truce.

The French tanks then withdrew from the area, as observers of the UN Truce Supervision Organisation deployed in the area.

Israeli soldiers confiscated the identity cards of photographers at the scene, claiming they may give pictures of the Israeli military to militants of the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah.

Israeli forces, whose country fought a July-August war with Hezbollah, have set up flying checkpoints in the area in the past two days, prompting the Lebanese government to file complaints to UNIFIL.

Comment: The UNIFIL mandate is to protect Lebanon from Izzy spasms, no ifs or buts. If this story is true, Siniora must tell UNIFIL to either do their job or get out - which is the sovereign right of the Lebanese government under the mandate - else he should resign. Those euro-wienies are predictably useless. To think that, not long ago, the big French General threatened to take on Hezbollah himself, ha. The Izzis will push and push until stopped, because that's what spoiled brats and lunatics do.

European religious, political leaders back Benedict

Sep. 16, 2006 20:59 | Updated Sep. 16, 2006 23:38

European religious and political leaders have backed Pope Benedict XVI in the wake of Muslim protests over his academic lecture at Regensburg University Tuesday, saying the pope's words had been misinterpreted.

"Rather than criticizing Islam, the pope is actually offering it a helping hand by suggesting that it do away with the cycle of violence," Fr. Samir K. Samir, SJ one of the Vatican's leading experts on Islam wrote in the Catholic newspaper AsiaNews.

The pope's academic lecture "was trying to show how Western society-including the Church-has become secularized by removing from the concept of Reason its spiritual dimension and origins which are in God," Fr. Samir stated.

While European Muslims were quick to attack the pope's words, the continent's political leaders declined to follow. "Whoever criticizes the pope misunderstood the aim of his speech," German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in an interview with the German newspaper, Bild.

"It was an invitation to dialogue between religions," she said on Friday. Benedict "expressly spoke in favor of this dialogue, which is something I also support and consider urgent and necessary." "What Benedict XVI emphasized was a decisive and uncompromising renunciation of all forms of violence in the name of religion," Merkel noted.

The title could have been:
The rabbis are pleased with the little noahide king

If the intention was anything like to emphasized "a decisive and uncompromising renunciation of all forms of violence in the name of religion", any
self-critical quote about spreading Christianity by hook or by crook would have been appropriate. Any minimally human human knows that you don't start a 'dialog' by swinging a club. The quote was a clearly intended as provocation. Pleading incompetence simply doesn't fly in a realm where every comma, every intonation and every micro-pause is studied for effect. I just wish the Muslims were a bit more sophisticated, and ridiculed the little noahide twerp instead of making the rabbis happy.

Pressures mount on Bush to bomb Iran

Patrick Seale

The Daily Star
President George W Bush is coming under enormous pressure from Israel - and from Israel's neoconservative friends inside and outside the US administration - to harden still further his stance toward Iran. They want the American president to commit himself to bombing Iran if it does not give up its program of uranium enrichment - and to issue a clear ultimatum to Tehran that he is prepared to do so. They argue that mere rhetoric - such as Bush's recent diatribe, in which he compared Iran to al-Qaeda - is not enough, and might even be counter-productive, as it might encourage the Iranians to think that America's bark is worse than its bite.

Hard-liners in Israel and the United States believe that only military action, or the credible threat of it, will now prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, with all that this would mean in terms of Israel's security and the balance of power in the strategically vital Middle East.

Fears that Bush might succumb to this Israeli and neoconservative pressure is beginning to cause serious alarm in Moscow, Beijing, Berlin, Paris, Rome and other world capitals where, as if to urge caution on Washington, political leaders are increasingly speaking out in favor of dialogue with Tehran and against the use of military force.

The quickening international debate over Iran's nuclear activities comes at a difficult time for Israel, where Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is fighting for his political life and for that of his ruling Kadima-Labor coalition.

The Iran problem is causing particular concern because it raises fundamental questions about the continued validity of the security doctrine Israel has forged over the past half century. A central plank of this doctrine is that, to be safe, Israel must dominate the region militarily and be stronger than any possible Arab or Muslim coalition.

The doctrine received a severe knock from Israel's inconclusive war in Lebanon, which demonstrated the country's vulnerability to Hizbullah's missiles and to the challenge of "asymmetric" guerrilla warfare. Israelis - especially those living in the more exposed north of the country where up to a million people took refuge in shelters - were shocked to discover that the war was being waged on Israel's home territory. All previous wars had been waged on Arab territory alone, and this had become something of an axiom for the Israeli military.

Another cause of anxiety for Israel's right wing - the settler movement, the nationalist-religious parties, the Likud and the right-dominated Kadima - is that Israel is coming under increasing international pressure to negotiate with the Palestinians, with a view to the creation of a Palestinian state. Influential voices are calling for an international conference - a sort of Madrid II - to re-launch the peace process.

Overcoming the crippling conflict between Hamas and Fatah, the Palestinians themselves are forming a national unity government, which will make it more difficult for Israel to claim that it has "no partner" with whom to negotiate.

Even British Prime Minister Tony Blair, whom the Israelis believed had been firmly co-opted into the US-Israeli camp, has recently called for the economic boycott of the Palestinians to be lifted once the unity government is in place.

This is all very bad news for right-wingers in Israel and their American supporters. They had hoped that the "land-for-peace" formula of UN Security Council Resolution 242 of 1967 had been finally buried. They want to break the Palestinian national movement - hence Olmert's unremitting assault on Gaza and the West Bank - rather than negotiate a political compromise with it. They want to seize more Palestinian land, not to withdraw to anything like the 1967 borders.

Such is the background to the outcry over Iran's nuclear activities. An Iranian bomb would end Israel's regional monopoly of nuclear weapons. It would force Israel to accept something like a balance of power, or at least a balance of deterrence.

Israelis claim vociferously that an Iranian bomb would pose an "existential threat" to their state. It is not clear whether they really believe that Iran might attack them and risk national suicide - an Armageddon scenario - or simply that they cannot contemplate a Middle East in which they would no longer be overwhelmingly strong, and in which their freedom to attack their neighbors and crush the Palestinians might be circumscribed.

When it destroyed Iraq's French-built nuclear reactor in 1981, Israel made clear that it would strike pre-emptively against the nuclear program of any hostile state in the region. The message which it and its friends are now addressing to President Bush is that if the US does not bomb Iran, Israel will have to do so.

This was put unambiguously in an article last week by Efraim Inbar, professor of political science at Bar-Ilan University and a well-known right-wing Israeli analyst. "Israel," he wrote, "can undertake a limited pre-emptive strike. Israel certainly commands the weaponry, the manpower, and the guts to effectively take out key Iranian nuclear facilities ... While less suited to do the job than the United States, the Israeli military is capable of reaching the appropriate targets in Iran. With more to lose than the US if Iran becomes nuclear, Israel has more incentive to strike."

These views are echoed by pro-Israeli writers in the United States, such as Danielle Pletka of the American Enterprise Institute. "Offers of dialogue with Iran are a waste of time," she wrote. "Iran has pursued ruthless oppression at home, terrorism abroad and weapons proliferation, largely with impunity ...  We have talked about talking for long enough, there must be other options."  Ominously she warned Iran: "It is not wise to force American into a choice between doing nothing and doing everything. But it may come to that."

Commentators like Inbar and Pletka, and many others in America and Israel who share their hard-line views, are deeply suspicious of what they see as Iran's duplicity, which they fear has seduced the Europeans. They are outraged by the negotiations which Javier Solana, the EU's foreign policy chief, is pursuing with Ali Larijani, Iran's principal nuclear negotiator.

The reported suggestion that Iran might suspend uranium enrichment for a month or two is seen as a trick to divide the Security Council and remove the threat of sanctions. They suspect that the international community is edging toward a position of allowing Iran to produce nuclear fuel under International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards. For the hard-liners, this would be one step away from tolerating an Iranian bomb in the not too distant future.

The real fear of the hard-liners is that the United States might agree to direct talks with Iran which would legitimize the theocratic regime, vastly increase Iran's stature as the dominant power in the Gulf, and eventually downgrade Israel as America's exclusive regional ally.

For Washington's neoconservatives, the battle to shape US policy toward Iran is a crucial test of their dwindling influence. They played a decisive role in persuading the US to make war on Iraq. They clamored for the destruction of the Hamas government in the Palestinian territories. They gave fervent support to Israel's war on Hizbullah, relentlessly portrayed as a "terrorist movement" and as the armed outpost of Iran.

But the neoconservatives have lost ground in Washington. The war in Iraq has turned into a strategic catastrophe, with another disaster looming in Afghanistan. Anti-Americanism in the Arab and Muslim worlds is at record levels. Leading neoconservatives like Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith and Lewis Libby have left the administration. For the remaining neoconservatives - and their standard-bearer, William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, losing the argument over Iran could be a terminal blow.

Their ultimate nightmare is that the United States may have to come to rely on Iran to help stabilize the dangerously chaotic situation in both Afghanistan and Iran. The visit to Tehran this week of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is, from their point of view, a ghastly pointer in that direction.

Patrick Seale, a veteran Middle East correspondent, wrote this commentary for The Daily Star.

WHR ->/ /<- - let's think...
Author: <

This was posted the other day on a thread, as being the official position of M. Rivero regarding the works of The_Skunk on JIB. I was unaware of this, and if true, it makes no sense - it is a tragedy...

WRH: I stopped running Judicial-inc stories because he makes a lot of claims but seldom has anything to back them up.

Disclaimer: I've visited Riveros sites since the famous "Rancho Amouka" or whatever it was called way back when. The man has a brilliant mind, and I have the highest respect for him - he walks the talk. Just as with The_Skunk, I don't agree with everything Rivero says or does, but that is neither here nor there. Something does not compute...

Something does not compute...
WRH often has links to such credible sources as the BBC and New York Times, War Party Mouth Pieces WaPMoPs, as has been clearly demonstrated. He has even more links to blog type sites (often stealth lobbies), forums, etc. which may contain lots of links to back up claims (opinions), but links at best lend support to a claim. The claim either pans out or it doesn't.

Rivero himself makes lots of (great) commentary (opinion), 'backed up' mostly by links to his own research or collections of opinions. But for the purpose we are interested in (I am, duhh), lets focus on the WaPMoPs, which are not always commented on by Rivero to provide suitable 'warning'.

JIB ( makes commentary - opinion...
The_Skunk makes observation(s), comes to a conclusion (his) and presents it as best as resources permit.

WaPMoPs make commentary - opinion...
Commentary and opinion attributed to often unnamed sources (who can't be identified for 'national security' - you should know the drill by now). News is objectively no different from commentary; it's the reporters observations and conclusion (his or his employers), formatted with a backup of huge resources.

Who has the better track record of accuracy (panning out)?
The difference between JIB and the WaPMoPs  is that any 'errors' in the WaPMoPs help start illegal wars (ex.: J.Miller et al) and other assaults on free individuals (like Rivero and most of us), while JIB at 'worst gets people to think outside the box. If one were to objectively compare the accuracy of the two sources on the same subjects - in cases where the WaPMoPs and others even dare to to broach them - The_Skunk would win hands down. That is by far the best 'backing up'.

JIB uses 'sometimes' pictures for illustrative purposes which are - well, illustrative. That is no doubt a function of resources. The WaPMoPs can and does stage pictures for less benign reasons. Fancy cropping is the norm. Photoshoping is not exactly unheard off.

Where's the beef?
Nobody can expect WRH to post every link, or even any links to JIB - that's entirely up to M. Rivero. But the reason stated does not wash, and is unnecessarily damaging to The_Skunks efforts.

Poster Comment:
Rivero was either been uncharacteristically snookered (hard to imagine), or 'lobbied' in such a way, that he decided to play the percentages. Whatever the case may be, that official WRH statement on the matter needs to go...

General / Why Israel is Losing

Why Israel is Losing

The world is witnessing what could be a critical turning point in the Arab-Israeli conflict.  Israel is now engaged in a war that could permanently undermine the efficacy of its much-vaunted military apparatus.

Ironically, there are several reasons for believing that Israel's destruction of southern Lebanon and southern Beirut will weaken its bargaining position relative to its adversaries, and will strengthen its adversaries' hands.

First, Israel has no clearly defined tactical or strategic objective, and so the Israeli offensive fails the first test of military logic: there is no way that Israel's actions can improve its position relative to Hamas or Hizballah, much less Syria or Iran.
The logic of power politics also implies that a no-win situation for Israel is a definite loss, because Israel is the stronger party and thus has the most  to lose.  In an asymmetric war, the stronger party always has the most to lose, in terms of reputation and in terms of its ability to project its will through the instruments of force.

The lack of any clearly defined objective is a major miscalculation by Israel and its American  patron.

Second, Israel cannot eliminate Hizballah, since Hizballah is a grassroots organization that represents a plurality of Lebanese society. Neither can Hamas be eliminated for the same reason. By targeting Hizballah however, Israel is strengthening Hizballah's hand against its domestic rivals, such as the Maronite Christians, because  any open Christian opposition makes them look like traitors and Israeli collaborators.

Consequently, while Hizballah will obviously pay a short-term tactical cost that is very high, in the long run, this conflict demonstrates that it is Hizballah, and not the Lebanese government, that has the most power in Lebanon.

The Shia represent an estimated 35-40 per cent of Lebanese society, while Lebanese Christians are thought to constitute no more than 25-30per cent  of the entire population.  Furthermore, the Shia community's fertility rate is thought to be far higher than that of the other religious components within Lebanon.

Thus, the current confessional division of power in Lebanon, which grants Christians a political  position that goes far beyond their minority status, is ultimately unsustainable, which means that the Maronite Christians will lose even more power, and the Shia and Hizballah will inevitably gain more power.

Third, Israel's failure to achieve anything at all greatly enhances Syria's influence over Lebanon and  its bargaining position relative to the U.S.  and Israel itself.  No solution in Lebanon can exclude Syria, and so now the U.S. and Israelis need Syria's approval, which certainly weakens both the U.S. and Israel.

And  even Israel's accusations against Iran, although largely baseless, greatly enhance  Iran's prestige in the region, and may bring about exactly what  the Israelis are trying to prevent. While the Arab states look like traitors, Iran looks like a champion of the most celebrated of all Muslim causes.

Fourth, Bush's impotence is  a clear demonstration that America has lost a great deal of global power over the last three years.  If Bush cannot control Iran, Syria, Hamas, Hizballah, or Israel, then what real power does the world's "hyper-power" possess?  America's inability to influence any of the actors that are relevant to the current crisis is yet more evidence that America's foreign policy is a form of global suicide.

Fifth, the age of great power warfare has been replaced by a world in which great powers must  live and compete with non-state actors who possess considerable military capabilities. William Lind calls this transformation "4th generation warfare."

Consequently, the age of  Bismarckian warfare, or what William Lind refers to as "3rd generation warfare," is effectively over.  "Bismarckian warfare" is a term that describes large-scale wars fought by large-scale armies, which require national systems of military conscription, a significant population base, and enormous military budgets.

Bismarckian warfare seems to have become ineffective in the Arab-Israeli context, because Israel no longer poses the threat that it once did to the Arab regimes, and the Arab regimes much prefer Israel to the rising non-state actors growing within their own borders.

William Lind has also argued  that non-state actors such as Hamas and Hizballah can checkmate  the Israelis as long as these Muslim parties never formally assume  power. If Muslim parties were to assume the power of states,  then they would immediately become targets for traditional Bismarckian warfare. However, as long as Muslim movements retain theirnon-state  identity, they are strategically unconquerable.

Sixth, we must more carefully study the reasons why Bismarckian warfare is no longer effective.

The global diffusion of the news outlets is obviously important for understanding why Bismarckian  warfare has become so ineffective.  For instance, Hizballah  has its own media network, and can draw upon the global satellite network to get its message out, and can also use the global media  to take advantage of Israel's targeting of civilians  and civilian infrastructure.

Further, the competition between Arab and Muslim satellite channels is also important, because each station wants to demonstrate its sincerity by spreading  news that is not only critical of Israel and the U.S., but ultimately undermines people's trust in the Arab regimes and thereby lends legitimacy to non-state actors.

And although the American media largely supports Israel, the information about the Americans  stranded in Lebanon limits Israel's freedom of action, and makes Israel look like it cares nothing for the lives of American citizens.

At an even deeper level, the rate and density of global information transfer, and lack of any centralized control over the global distribution of information, is causing the fabric of space and time to contract, and so Israel's crimes can much more quickly create a global backlash.

Time and space, as we experience them, are contracting because the global diffusion of technical and scientific knowledge is permitting events in one part of  the world to increasingly influence events in other parts of the world, and events that once took years or even decades to unfold can now occur within mere months or weeks.

As a consequence, the disenfranchised peoples of the world are developing the ability to affect the lives of the more privileged members of humanity, which means that anything that Israel does to the Palestinians or Lebanese will have effects upon Israel that are more direct and more negative than ever before, and that further, these effects will occur  in an accelerated time scale.

Thus, as it becomes self evident that Israeli military power is no longer as effective as it once was, this will surely accelerate the flow of Jewish settlers out of Israel.  Information regarding emigration of Jews  out of Israel is a closely guarded secret, but using Israeli  government statistics, we can infer that immigration to Israel has rapidly declined over the last several years, and that Israel may even be experiencing a net outflow of Jewish migrants. According  to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, the number of Jewish  immigrants to Israel declined to 21,000 in 2004, which is a 15-year  low.  In 2005, the number of immigrants rose slightly to  23,000, which is still dramatically lower than the 60,000 that immigrated in 2000. Furthermore, Israel became a net exporter  of its citizens in 2003, when9,000 more Israelis left the country than entered, and in the first two months of 2004, this figure rose to 13,000.

The global micro-diffusion of military technology is also critical, and so military innovation and its global diffusion will only strengthen grassroots rebellions and allow them to more effectively resist the instruments of Bismarckian control, as well as the depredations of the military hippopotami that are the ultimate guarantors of statism and statist regimes.

For all of these reasons, Israeli attempts to impose terms on Lebanon, or to redraw the political map of Lebanon, or even to impose a NATO  force upon Southern Lebanon, are not militarily feasible nor politically achievable, and if attempted, will prove ultimately unsustainable.

As will soon be demonstrated  by events on the ground, Israel will not be able to destroy or even disarm Hizballah.  Neither will Hamas, Hizballah, Lebanon, or Syria permit Israel or America to dictate terms to them. Consequently,  if Israel lingers too long in Southern Lebanon, its presence will be paid for at such a high cost, that it will be forced  to withdraw in ignominy, as it has so many times in the past.

In the end however, Israel's loss of power will make it even more dangerous, because the more threatened the Israelis feel, the more likely they will launch destructive wars against the Palestinians and Israel's other adversaries.

Finally, the same can be said  of the U.S., with respect to its loss of global power. Instead of becoming more careful with its use of force, the erosion of America's global dominance will likely make the U.S.government more aggressive, as it attempts to re-assert its former position relative to its adversaries and competitors.

And it is precisely because America and Israel are losing influence over global events, that an American attack upon Iran in 2007 becomes more likely.

God help us all.

It's also a piece that goes well together with the one posted by amonvanroark "Hezbollah, Hamas, and Israel: Everything You Need to Know" to round out the perspective. Ted Pike's Reply to Hoffman and Hoffman's Rejoinder

April, 2006
Michael A. Hoffman II

Rev. Ted Pike has published a reply to my column, Misbegotten Alliance: Ted Pike and Rabbi Lapin. Pike titles his reply "Guilt by Association?" I have issued the following rejoinder based on excerpts from his reply.

Introduction: What is remarkable about the case of Ted Pike is that he is a minister who has some knowledge of the evil contained within the Talmud, but proceeds nonetheless to cooperate with Talmudic rabbis such as Daniel Lapin and Yisroel Dovid Weiss, which signifies that either Rev. Pike's grasp of the rabbinic texts is shallow, or he actually believes that one can cooperate with evil on the Machiavellian basis that the end justifies the means. In that sense he would be more culpable than the average "preacher from Peoria," who has no clear idea what the Talmud actually represents and endorses rabbis based on ignorance. It would seem that Ted Pike cannot use that defense and in fact, he does not.

Rev. Pike begins his reply by comparing himself to Jesus, who was criticized as a "friend of publicans and sinners." This writer has of course made no such criticism. Mr. Pike can associate for purposes of evangelism with all the sinners and tax collectors he cares to, and he won't hear a peep out of me.

Ted Pike: "Winston Churchill, during England's darkest hours, said that if the devil himself would offer his services to defeat Hitler, he would take them. I can't go that far, but considering the extremity of the danger to our world and nation, I don't ask too many questions of those who want to help me in the fight for freedom."

Hoffman: Churchill was one of the greatest mass murders in modern history, responsible for the deliberate mass incineration of German civilians by air force firebombing during World War II, and close cooperation with Joseph Stalin, the Communist butcher, in helping the latter expand the tentacles of the Soviet system over formerly Christian lands. Pike says that while he can't go so far as to advocate an alliance with the devil himself, as Churchill did, under the circumstances he doesn't "ask too many questions of those who want to help" him.

That blithe statement in itself disqualifies Rev. Pike from a leadership position, since he is setting himself and his operation up for infiltration and subversion by covert agents of the Cryptocracy, of whom he doesn't "ask too many questions." This is foolish and irresponsible.

Ted Pike: "One of the most powerful tools for awakening the church and nation was provided by Rabbi Daniel Lapin of 'Toward Tradition,' a politically conservative, orthodox Jewish organization in Seattle. On his international TV program, aired on Trinity Broadcasting, Lapin warned an enormous Pentecostal audience that 'evangelical Christians are now under relentless attack from secular Judaism.' I have trumpeted his warning to countless more, awakening Christians to a brand new idea: Israel-first evangelicals may love evil Jewish leaders, but they are not loved in return. Such Jewish leaders as ADL's Foxman are formidably opposed to everything Christian, working night and day to remove Christian values from society."

Hoffman: Pike states that Rabbi Lapin is helping him awaken "Christians to a brand new idea: Israel-first evangelicals may love evil Jewish leaders, but they are not loved in return."

Well of course they are Ted. Gentile neo-con Zionists like John Hagee are "loved" by Rabbi Lapin. Isn't Lapin a "Jewish leader"?

They are also cherished by Binyamin Netanyahu and the Israeli Likud party and many other Judaic leaders who appreciate the extent to which neo-con church-goers are assisting Israelis on the road to nuclear war with Iran, and any other nation that is critical of Zionism and seeks protection from Mr. Bush's "pre-emptive first-strike" doctrine, by acquiring just a few of the atomic bombs which the Israelis possess in the hundreds. The Iranians have noticed the disparity in the US approach to nuclear-armed North Korea and conventionally armed Iraq. The former enjoys immunity from military attack; the latter is a bombed-out ruin.

In the war for Israeli supremacy, "Israel-first evangelicals" are a key constituent of Israeli policy and courted on that basis by religious Zionists and Orthodox rabbis. Pike speaks in sloppy generalities when he claims that "Jewish leaders" don't love neo-con "Israel first" church goers. As a general statement this is a falsehood.

Ted Pike: "Some have criticized me for thanking Rabbi Lapin and encouraging him to continue to alert both Christians and Jews."

Hoffman: Rev. Pike was moved to write his response due to my expose, but he does not have the candor to mention me by name in his reply, so I am reduced to constituting part of a faceless crowd named "some" and "they" (see below).

Ted Pike: "They say I am giving the impression that Rabbi Lapin is sincere. Actually, they say, he is but the 'front man' for hidden anti-Christ forces; he leads the 'religious right' the way Abe Foxman leads the Jewish left. Yet, I ask, if Rabbi Lapin is as evil and devious as that, why the gift of the most explicit unprecedented warning against evil Jewish leaders that lovers of freedom could hope to receive?"

Hoffman: Lapin has made his allegedly fantastic "gift" for the reasons I noted in my original column, in order to preserve Zionism's church-going, Republican Right-wing constituency. Lapin is the emissary to that faction, while the ADL's Foxman is charged with keeping pro-Zionist, liberal Democrat Left-wingers in the fold. Why is this so difficult for Mr. Pike to comprehend? The ADL must criticize neo-con church goers in order to appease liberal supporters of Israel in the US; Lapin's wing must criticize liberal Judaics in order to appease conservative supporters of Israel in the US, with Ted Pike acting as the facilitator who lends credibility to the Right wing of this clandestine operation.

Ted Pike:  "Yes, Rabbi Lapin is working to bring the whole world under the more 'rational' jurisdiction of Hebrew monotheism. Yet, unlike ADL/B'nai B'rith, he is not publicly smashing Christendom's most cherished values and symbols in the process. Actually, Rabbi Lapin's persistent admonitions to American Jews to deeply appreciate America and its Christian culture fulfill God's command to exiled Jews to seek the peace and welfare of the nations in which they dwell (Jer. 29:4)."

Hoffman: Here's where Rev. Pike goes off the deep-end. Lapin can't be working on behalf of "Hebrew monotheism" AND the religion of Judaism, the two are mutually contradictory. A religion that worships itself is a religion of strange gods, not one God. The Talmud declares that the prophet Isaiah was rightly killed for having said that Israel has "unclean lips." Let's try to follow Pike's "reasoning": the Talmud completely nullifies the Old Testament and applauds the murder of prophet Isaiah for having accused Israel of being unclean, but Talmudist Daniel Lapin is indeed actually working to bring the world under the "jurisdiction" (!) of Hebrew monotheism.

Pike's statement about Lapin's monotheism and "jurisdiction" over "the whole world" comes dangerously close to the postulates of the sinister "Noachide" hoax, by which Talmudic rabbis wish to line up the gentiles under their supposed "Hebrew monotheistic" jurisdiction, on the basis of their interpretation of the "seven laws of Noah." Come clean, Ted Pike, do you endorse the "Noachide" scam? This hustle is the Right-wing version of Moses Hess' Judaic Communist swindle. In both instances, gentiles volunteer for their own extermination as (choose your poison): Naive "Noachides" who are subsequently executed for worshipping Jesus (a capital crime of "idolatry" under the rabbinic Noachide law), or naive "brotherhood of man" Socialists subsequently executed for "anti-Semitism" (a capital crime in Bolshevik Russia).

Ted Pike: "Rabbi Lapin is aggressively outspoken against ADL, or what he calls 'secular Judaism.' He is critical not only of its anti-Christianity but its eagerness to label its opponents anti-Semitic. In fact, his organization offers to assist any Christian or conservative who has been so threatened or tarnished."

Hoffman: Is Ted Pike seriously suggesting that Rabbi Lapin's organization will assist "any Christian" who has been "tarnished" by accusations of "anti-semitism?" Lapin will assist Michael A. Hoffman II? Craig Heimbichner? Herman Otten? Charles Provan? Dale Crowley Jr? Ted Weiland? What Pike should say, if he cares anything for veracity, is that Lapin will help any neo-con church-goer who has sold his Christian faith for a pot of John Hagee's Zionist lentils. So that, if in the course of campaigning against abortionists and homosexuals a Right wing neo-con church goer is castigated as "anti-semitic," Lapin will extend him a kosher certificate.

While it's certainly vital that we protect unborn children from abortion, and oppose the mainstreaming of sodomy in our nation, abortion and homosexuality are but symptoms of an underlying evil which is the source of these grave disorders. Pike's obsession with symptoms and with putative rabbinic champions of their alleviation, causes him to overlook the source of the abortion and homosexual abominations: the legal philosophy of Pharisaic casuistry which adjusts the law of God to changing circumstances. What is more, there is rabbinic permission for abortion and the homosexual molestation of boys under certain circumstances. How in heaven's name can Pike justify in any way, shape or form any connection with rabbis who follow the Talmud? The connection itself makes a mockery of the Christian campaign against abortion and sodomy.

Ted Pike: "I am under no illusions about Rabbi Lapin. He is a Pharisee, Talmudist, and Zionist of the deepest persuasion. On his programs and in his books, Lapin attempts to elicit our admiration for the Pharisees, their methods, and the Talmud they created. In 'educating' us about Talmudism, he creates an extremely distorted, white-washed facsimile of what rabbinic Judaism is really about. Only by such distortion can he succeed in his goal of obtaining complete acceptance of rabbinic Judaism within Christian society.

Hoffman: What a confession! This is absolutely crazy. Lapin is the rabbi Ted Pike is knowingly endorsing and promoting, a rabbi who Pike openly acknowledges is a "Pharisee, Talmudist...of the deepest persuasion" who "creates an extremely distorted, white-washed facsimile of what rabbinic Judaism is really about" in order to "succeed in his goal of obtaining complete acceptance of rabbinic Judaism within Christian society." And guess who's helping him accomplish this dreadful evil by promoting his website and mailing address and lauding him as a potential "new Moses"? None other than the Rev. Ted Pike!

Ted Pike: "In his opposition to liberal Jewish activism and its civil liberties 'muscle' organizations, such as ADL and JDL, Rabbi Lapin is similar to Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, leader of the ultra Orthodox Jewish Neturei Karta movement. (See and Neturei Karta asserts that Israel, having been exiled for disobeying the Pharisees, cannot be repatriated to Palestine except in obedience to God and the Pharisees. Neturei Karta absolutely opposes Zionism and the largely secular state of Israel."

Hoffman: Neturei Karta is a Talmudic rabbinic organization that is opposed to Zionism, as were virtually all Talmudic rabbis from the beginning of rabbinic Judaism down to the 19th century. It was only with the coming of the first Talmudic Zionist, Moses Hess, that rabbis began to gradually soften their stand on a Judaic state in Palestine, and then only with tremendous reluctance. It was not until the 20th century and the systemization of religious Zionist thought under the Kabbalistic Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Kook, that Zionism won the allegiance of a significant portion of Orthodox Judaism. For nearly 1900 years, almost all Orthdoox rabbis opposed Zionism. Did this anti-Zionist opposition somehow render them benevolent in the eyes of Christian authorities, Bible scholars and theologians of the past? How could it, when in every other respect, Neturei Karta and allied anti-Zionist rabbinic sects like the Satmar, advocate all of the murderous anti-Christ filth that Judaism represents? Israel Shahak reports that the Neturei Karta rabbis use Jesus' name as a swear word in connection with imprecations they hurl at their tribal enemies. For example they called Yasser Arafat, "Arafat Jesus" (cf. Jewish History, Jewish Religion, ch. 5, note no. 70).

It almost seems as though every time we discover another batch of Orthodox Right wing rabbinic scoundrels, there's Ted Pike apologizing for them or promoting them. Someone please tell me, what is the essential difference between Pike and Hagee? Is Pike's special mission to bring even those opposed to the Talmud somehow into the rabbinic fold? People too suspicious of the Talmud to heed Hagee, seem to heed Pike. Are we witnessing a new development in the plan to co-opt the opposition?

Ted Pike: "For purposes of fragmenting the awesome powers of organized world Jewry, presided over by ADL/B'nai B'rith, many critics of Zionism have allied themselves with Rabbi Weiss. I also have taken advantage of the leverage Rabbi Weiss and his movement contribute."

Hoffman: Does this admission by Pike of being unequally yoked with these Christ-hating molesters--one of whose number is currently under arrest in the Israeli state for murdering and biting the neck (!) of his infant son--really require a reply? Pike is not fragmenting Judaism. He's not gaining "leverage." Judaism is sifting Christianity by means of Pike.

Ted Pike: "Rabbis Lapin and Weiss spin the term 'Torah' to give the impression that they are "Torah-observant Jews," primarily adherents of the Old Testament. This ingratiates them to Christians and conservatives, yet nothing could be further from the truth."

Hoffman: Absolutely correct. Why then does Pike disseminate phone numbers, websites and mailing addresses for these deceitful men and urge his own followers to ally with them? Why should we have anything to do with people who could not be "further from the truth"? What kind of muddled, double-minded trap are we being led into?

Ted Pike: "... it cannot be denied that Rabbi Weiss and the Neturei Karta provide a powerful alternative voice within Judaism that is challenging the historically undisputed control of ADL/B'nai B'rith."

Hoffman: So we should help ensure that Right wing Talmudic Neturei Karta rabbis replace left wing masonic ADL rabbis for control of Judaism? What possible difference can this make, except to give us the fatal illusion that a tyranny has been lifted? When in fact all that will have been achieved, is that we will have replaced one set of tyrants with another set and "got fooled again." Is this the destiny of Christians after Pentecost, to be fodder for being fooled again and again? Is such vulnerability to chicanery not a kind of ritualistic mockery of the promises of Christ for victorious living?

Ted Pike: "...Neturei Karta is popularizing the truly Biblical truth that Jews can't return to Israel as a nation except in obedience to God. In this regard, they are closer than Christian evangelicals to God's timeless requirement that the Jews must obey in order to dwell in the land."

Hoffman: This self-deluding palaver is becoming painful to read. No Talmudic rabbi counsels Biblical truth. They counsel Talmudic dissimulation. "Obedience to God" in Judaism is a coded phrase -- not for obedience to Yahweh, whose name Judaics are not even allowed to pronounce -- it is code for obedience to the real god(s) of Judaism: the rabbis themselves. How can Pike think otherwise? The Talmud states that God studies the Talmud, and that God admits that the rabbis have defeated Him in debate. Neturei Karta decrees that the Israelis will be punished for failing to heed the Talmud. That is the "sin" of Zionism in the eyes of Neturei Karta. Pike acknowledges that the rabbis "spin the term 'Torah' to give the impression that they are...primarily adherents of the Old Testament," and then he helps them with their spin by linking them to "Biblical truth" and "Hebrew monotheism."

Ted Pike: "Would I appear on a program opposing ADL with Rabbi Lapin or Rabbi Weiss? Absolutely! Does that mean I have compromised the truth? Absolutely not! Jesus had lunch with a Pharisee (Lk. 7:36) and an extended conversation with a Pharisaic leader, Nicodemus (Jn. 3). His truthtelling and salty reproof continued unaffected."

Hoffman: Does Pike dare to accuse Jesus of using Pike's methods of endorsing Pharisees on the grounds of not asking "too many questions of those who want to help me in the fight for freedom"? Is this how Jesus behaved toward the Pharisees? Jesus was attempting to convert Israel, including the Pharisees, to change them from being the spiritual children of hell to being the children of God. That was the only reason he dined with a Pharisee in Luke 7:36-50.

He conversed with Nicodemus on harsh terms for the same reasons, admonishing him at John 3:9, "You are a teacher in Israel and you do not know these things!" Again, as in Luke 7, nowhere in John 3 does Jesus endorse, promote, empathize with or otherwise condone any sort of relationship with these Pharisees other than that of evangelist to the degenerate. Is this what Ted Pike is, a missionary to the perverted rabbis, seeking to have them cease their depravity while announcing to the world the degree to which they are sunk in abomination, blasphemy and evil? Mr. Pike is doing nothing of the kind. On the contrary, he says we are going to owe these workers of iniquity "eternal gratitude." He speaks of Rabbi Lapin in the most exalted terms possible, as a potential "new Moses." Our Savior did nothing like this; quite the opposite.

To draw any parallels between the tactics of Ted Pike and those of Jesus Christ is to subtly imply that Jesus was confused, a claim advanced by "The Last Tempation of Christ." But Jesus was not confused. He was beaten, spat upon, tormented, scourged, crowned with thorns, nailed to a cross and murdered in a particularly shaming fashion, precisely because, unlike Rev. Ted Pike, he absolutely would not compromise in any way, to any degree for any reason, with the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Ted Pike " a follower of the New Testament, I believe that rabbinic Judaism is the 'synagogue of Satan,' a lying anti-Christ religious system..."

Hoffman: And yet these are Ted Pike's friends and allies! "The double-minded man is unstable in all his ways" (James 1:8). Now permit him to explain why he absolutely must make an alliance with this 'synagogue of Satan" and this 'lying anti-Christ religious system":

Ted Pike: "Of course, I would love to persuade both of these Jewish leaders to trust in Israel's true Messiah, Jesus Christ. Yet, as one struggling to save America, I must be free to accept their help to fragment the staggering power of ADL/B'nai B'rith. In so doing, I pattern myself precisely after St. Paul. Brought up on charges of heresy by the Jewish Sanhedrin, he sided with the theology of the Pharisees in their belief in an afterlife. By so doing, Paul inflamed the opponents of the Pharisees, the Sadducees, who denied the resurrection. Result: both Pharisees and Sadducees went at each other, forgetting the main reason they had convened, which was to persecute Paul. Having split "organized Jewry" into two warring factions, Paul saved his life (Acts 23:6).

Hoffman: Is Ted Pike on trial for his life in front of the Sanhedrin like the Apostle Paul was? I must have missed that. Did the Apostle Paul label any of his Pharisaic judges a potential "new Moses" as Ted Pike has labeled Rabbi Lapin? Pike is extrapolating from a courtroom tactic which Paul used to preserve his life in order to continue his missionary work against Judaism, into a strategy for American Christianity. The analogy is utterly specious. Even when on trial for his life Paul called his rabbinic judges "whitewashed walls" (hypocrites) to their face. Once he got free of the court, he didn't then go out and preach to the gentiles, "Let's ally with the Pharisees to defeat the Sadducees in order to advance Christianity."

Christ lumped the Pharisees and the Sadducees together as a "brood of vipers" (Matthew 3: 7-8). In Matthew 16:11-12, Jesus warned us to "beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees." He did not favor one side against the other, for the very notion is itself part of this toxic yeast or "leaven." This is what Pike has fallen for in defending the "conservative" rabbinic Pharisees in opposition to the liberal ADL Sadduccees. The implication of his tragically distorted reasoning is that we are better off under the Pharisees than under the Sadducees. Here is the yeast that makes the moldy loaf of Judaism rise. Get it straight, Ted: you can't outsmart Satan at his own game. This is what Jesus was warning against. You have failed to heed His warning and you are misleading who knows how many thousands or tens of thousands in this regard. Satan is sifting you like wheat.

Paul preserved his life so that he could go out on the highways and byways and warn the people that the leaders of Judaism "both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men."

Where does it say Paul formed any sort of alliance with those who please not God and are contrary to all men?

Rev. Pike imagines that he is going to both raise the prestige of Orthdox Judaism and its "new Moses," and at the same time condemn it as Talmudic spin, and in this way the truth will be served. In fact, what he is doing is symbolic of the state of double-minded confusion that exists within much of the Right wing today.

Ted Pike: "...if Rabbi Lapin or any other Jewish leader could create a rebellion within Jewry, breaking B'nai B'rith's hammerlock of control, such an initiative would be deserving of the support and eternal gratitude of every lover of freedom."

Let's decode this double-talk: "If a leading Pharisee could break the Sadducees' hammerlock (sic) of control, such a Pharisaic initiative would deserve the support and eternal gratitude of every lover of freedom."

First, the ADL does not "control Jewry." It wields power over its designated sphere of influence: the liberal Zionist wing among the Judaics.

Rabbis within the powerful Chabad-Lubavitch sect, and Daniel Lapin wield power over their designated sphere of influence: the conservative Zionist wing. Together these two wings rule Judaism, and through it, the West. The ADL is not an almighty entity whereby if we could just dismantle the ADL, Christianity would enjoy a springtime of freedom and revival. That's horse manure. Christians were being killed, persecuted, economically crushed by Shylocks, manipulated into fratricidal wars and sold into mental, spiritual and physical slavery long before their was an ADL. It was Orthodox Judaics like Rabbi Lapin and the Neturei Karta who were expelled from England and Spain by the Catholic monarchs King Edward I and Queen Isabella. Martin Luther advocated similar measures in Germany; Peter Stuyvesant sought the extrusion of Judaics in New Holland, and the Puritan William Prynne fought to keep them out of Cromwell's England. Meanwhile Rev. Ted Pike upholds them as paradigmatic freedom-fighters who deserve our "eternal gratitude." His is a novel gospel that violates everything history teaches us about Judaism and its adherents.

Ted Pike: 'Rejecting the rule against 'guilt by association,' Jesus knew that in order to save sinners, He would have to associate with them."

Hoffman: Guilt by association has nothing to do with my argument. People can't help associating with those with whom they just happen to share the same church, club, school or neighborhood. To impugn someone merely on this basis is "guilt by association." But if a person chooses to directly endorse or promote another person or sect , that person should take responsibility for the endsorsement/promotion and not holler "guilt by association." If you choose to endorse a rabbi (Lapin) or a rabbinic sect (Neturei Karta), then be prepared for the consequences of the choice you have made.

By all means, Ted Pike, save sinners wherever you find them. End your alliance with and promotion of Antichrist: denounce Lapin and Neturei Karta and break all your ties with them; repent of this misdirection and make amends for your supposedly so very clever strategy, which neither Christ nor the apostles ever taught or practiced. Put an end to the gospel of Pike, the gospel of being unequally yoked, and return to the Gospel of Christ.

Ted Pike:
"I believe that if He (Jesus) were in human form today, He would be all over talk radio. He would not refuse bookings because they were not respectable. He would speak wherever He was allowed to tell the whole truth."

Hoffman: A statement like this is just a diversion. I have never said anything so ridiculous as "appearances on talk radio are not respectable."

In Summary: There seem to be two Ted Pikes. One is a Christian knowledgeable about the wickedness and snares of the Talmud and Orthodox rabbis. The other is a dupe of Orthodox rabbis, who imagines that he is "leveraging" them as part of his grand Machiavellian strategy of divide-and-conquer. But what does Scripture say? "What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial?" (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).

Poster comment: "When politics meets religious hucksters", could be a subtitle. A great perpective, and highly germane to all that is going on right now ("right now" can refer to tomorrow or one hundred years ago). It's long (sorry Skunk) but well worth it.

I repeat this portion as a caution, next time some 'Larry' tries to sell "TheGoodTrueTruthJews".
Neturei Karta is a Talmudic rabbinic organization that is opposed to Zionism, as were virtually all Talmudic rabbis from the beginning of rabbinic Judaism down to the 19th century. Iran and Turkey fire salvo over Iraq
By Sami Moubayed
Asia Times

DAMASCUS - Both Turkey and Iran have been launching military raids into northern Iraq against a Kurdish paramilitary group that is based there, posing a dangerous new threat to stability both within Iraq and to the region.

The Iraq-based Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK), labeled a terrorist group by the United States, Britain and the European Union, is a paramilitary party that preaches Kurdish nationalism, especially in Turkey, where it is demanding political rights and better living standards for the country's 12 million Kurds.

Turkey recently launched a massive military operation involving more than 250,000 troops against the PKK (nearly double the number of US troops in Iraq), concentrated in the mountains along Turkey's borders with Iran and Iraq. Extensive incursions into northern Iraq have been reported, aimed at cutting off the PKK's supply lines to Turkey from its camps in northern Iraq. Turkey also claims that "the PKK has recently increased its activities and obtained weapons from Iraq".

Iran, meanwhile, has begun attacks on PKK units based in Iran, and the Iranian military has entered Iraqi territory in hot pursuit of  PKK militants. This represents a different approach from recent years, when Turkey regularly accused Tehran of turning a blind eye to the PKK in Iran.

The Baghdad government has objected, claiming a violation of its sovereignty, but both countries insist that they are acting in self-defense.

The PKK wants to create a Kurdish state out of southeastern Turkey, northeastern Iraq, northeastern Syria and northwestern Iran. PKK broadcasts have claimed that 2006 would be "a year of destiny" for Kurdish nationalism. The PKK rebellion, which has hit Turkey the hardest, has led to the death of 35,000 Turks (including 5,000 soldiers) and cost the Turks billions of dollars.

The PKK's long history of violence - and the violence used in turn by the authorities - all but ceased after its leader Abdullah Ocelan was arrested in 1998, but it resumed activities in June 2004, claiming that the Turkish military was still attacking it.

In a message to Iraq, Turkey said, "They [PKK] are the infiltrators and we are protecting our border. Do not allow the terror network to use your territory. Fight against the terrorists who will only terrorize you in the future." Another communique issued by Turkey addressing the Iraqis read, "We are not considering ending our activity there [in Iraq] for as long as the PKK is also present and active in that area."

The Turks claim that up to 4,000 members of the PKK have been using Iraq to launch attacks on Turkey.

General Hilmi Ozkok, commander of the Turkish army, asked whether Turkey planned to seek US permission before further invasions of Iraq, confidently replied, "We cannot take a decision of that kind based on the US. Every country is sovereign. Every country makes its own decisions. If the conditions change, you act by the changing conditions."

To avoid a confrontation, a flurry of diplomacy has taken place in Turkey. Over the past week, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visited Ankara. So did members of the US House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee, and Ali Larijani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and chief negotiator on Iran's nuclear portfolio.

Most interesting of the meetings was that of Larijani, who was received with great honor in Ankara. For six hours, Larijani met with Yigit Alpogan, the secretary general of the National Security Council, Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Larijani warned the Turks against PKK infiltration and the chaos prevailing in Iraq, saying, "We are very worried as a country from this region. If the string breaks, and it is heading that way currently, it will not be possible to repair it. We are telling you this plainly now. Later, do not come and complain that we didn't warn you."

He continued, "Currently, there is solidarity in your country. But if chaos breaks out, this solidarity will also fall apart. Don't be like Iraq."

Football-mad President may fall foul of Holocaust law
From Roger Boyes in Berlin

FORGET football hooligans. The thorniest dilemma facing Germany as it prepares to host the World Cup is what to do about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran`s hardline President, if he insists on coming to watch his team play next month.

Germany is obliged to admit the head of state of a participating nation, and the tournament`s official motto is `A Time To Make Friends`. But Mr Ahmadinejad has demanded Israel`s destruction and has repeatedly denied the Holocaust `” a crime in Germany.

Iran`s first match is in Nuremberg, used by Hitler for his mass rallies, and German neo-Nazis are planning a march in support of Mr Ahmadinejad. Israel, Iranian exiles and German politicians are demanding he be kept away. `The question is whether Germany as host can prevent the visit of a head of state who has shown himself to be a repulsive and embarrassing anti-Semite,` Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, said.

`The spirit of the World Cup is in absolute contradiction to the spirit that he represents.`

An editorial in the Jerusalem Post accused Germany of trading with Iran and appeasing its nuclear ambitions:

`Germany`s behaviour toward Iran is a clear sign that for all its Holocaust memorialising, for all its anti-Nazi legislation, and for all its protestations of friendship with Israel and the Jewish people, Germany has not learnt the lessons of the Holocaust.`

Edmund Stoiber, prime minister of Bavaria, said: `Such a man is not welcome.` But the German Government is pressing ahead. Wolfgang Schäuble, the Interior Minister, says that the President `can naturally come to the matches`. Differences of opinion over the Holocaust, Israel and nuclear power could be aired during the visit.

Herr Schäuble`s deputy, August Hanning, a former Security Service chief, has agreed with Tehran that there should be no political demonstrations in the stadiums. The two states will also exchange intelligence on possible threats.

For Iranian exiles, expected to attend the matches against Mexico, Angola and Portugal in large numbers, that smacks of appeasement. `Naturally we are worried that information from the Germans will be used against our families in Iran,` said Hassan Nayeb-Agha, who played as a midfielder for Iran in the 1978 World Cup.

`We must not let the Iranian regime misuse the World Cup in the same way that Hitler did with the 1936 Olympic Games.`

Iran is expected to decide if Mr Ahmadinejad should travel to Germany within the next few days, but there is little doubt that he wants to go. `Our President loves soccer,` said Muhammad Ali Dadkan, head of the Iranian Football Association, as he inspected the Nuremberg pitch last month.

One Israeli lawyer living in Germany has lodged an application with the federal prosecutor to serve an international arrest warrant on the President as soon as he gets off the plane.

Mr Ahmadinejad would, however, probably enjoy diplomatic immunity and some lawyers doubt that his denial of the Holocaust breaches German law as his comments were made abroad.

Russia yesterday backed the need for a new Security Council resolution on Iran`s nuclear programme and said it hoped that the measure could be adopted before Monday`s meeting of foreign ministers from the big powers.

Vitali Churkin, Moscow`s new UN Ambassador, said Russia had problems with some elements of a draft resolution put forward by France, Britain and the US but had supported the Security Council proposal.

2006 / Iran-Israel Linkage By Bush Seen As Threat (Oups)

Iran-Israel Linkage By Bush Seen As Threat
Jewish leaders warn of backlash as president cites Jewish state as rationale for possible strikes.
James D. Besser And Larry Cohler-Esses

President Bush is risking a backlash that could injure the Jewish community `” and his own cause `” by repeatedly citing Israel as his top rationale for possible U.S. military conflict with Iran, Jewish leaders and Middle East analysts warned this week.

Bush`s repeated, sometimes exclusive, focus on Israel could spark public fury against the Jewish state and Jews if U.S. military action is accompanied by skyrocketing gas prices, terrorism at home or fallen G.I.`s who might be seen as dying for Israel, some said. Others feared it could fracture the shaky international coalition Bush is striving to assemble to oppose Iran`s nuclear program by framing the threat as primarily to Israel rather than international stability.

Ambassador Edward Walker, a former U.S. envoy to Israel who now heads the Middle East Institute in Washington, termed Bush`s Israel focus `a terrible idea.`

`Just think about if gas prices go up to $7 a gallon as a result, and everybody is saying it`s because of Israel,` he said.

`I don`t believe it is in Israel`s best interests to have the American people going into a major military action, which is what we`re talking about in Iran, with significant implications on the home front in terms of terrorism and energy prices, and then having people blame Israel,` said Walker.

Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice president of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, said `The linkage to Israel is not a good idea, because then the Iranians say, you see, it`s the Zionists driving this.

`As much as we appreciate it, the question is whether it`s beneficial to tie this to Israel,` said Hoenlein, whose organization functions as the Jewish community`s official umbrella group for speaking out on foreign policy issues.

The realization sure took a long ting time to sink in. When I first heard Bush talk about it, my eyes almost popped out of their sockets. I mean, how dumb can you get. Lucky for all, we can now expect millions of Jewish Americans to disassociate themselves from Bush and those gutless 'zionists' - right?

2006 / President Slobodan Milosevic, R.I.P.

Milosevic dies in jail

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic has died, the UN tribunal said on Saturday.

"Milosevic was found lifeless on his bed in his cell at the United Nations detention unit," the tribunal said in a statement.

"The guard immediately alerted the detention unit officer in command and the medical officer. The latter confirmed that Slobodan Milosevic was dead."

The tribunal said the Dutch police and a Dutch coroner were called in and started an inquiry. A full autopsy and toxicological examination have been ordered. Milosevic's family has been informed, it added.

Milosevic, 64, suffered a heart condition and high blood pressure which had repeatedly interrupted his trial in the Hague on charges of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes during the bloody disintegration of Yugoslavia in the 1990s.

Civics & Sovereignty / Leaderless Resistance - the concept - v1.2

Leaderless Resistance - the IED to the NWO
Proemio at
A big thank you to "bluegrass", "NOLAJBS" and a "Guest", who helped with their valuable critiques, insights and suggestions.

The following is a short description of the basic logic behind the idea of "Leaderless Resistance" - according to my view. Being short, it obviously lacks detail, but then, that is in large part the beauty of the concept. Each individual can easily tailor a unique approach, while pursuing a common goal. Since we don't need to sell a lie, it is not necessary to have a 'dear leader' specifying uniform talking points and/or actions.

Once familiar with LR, we can get acquainted with WOC (Withdrawal Of Consent), LR's natural, and equally fascinating mate - the one providing the punch.

What we know - because it stares us in the face:

1) The most hopelessly confused nations today have endless organizations, organisms and committees on a 'community' level, not to mention the all permeating political apparatus.

2) All these structures are either created or soon infiltrated and/or subverted by a species of virtual clones, who's main talent (usually the only talent) is to twist words into intricate pretzels. Intriguing to look at but unsafe to ingest.

3) These verbal 'virtuosi' are backed by unlimited financial resources. Their masters - not what masquerades as our governments - create the stuff out of thin air - as needed.

4) Our so called governments have been turned into simple enforcer pretzels by and for the same masters. If you don't think the communitarian groupthink, you are unelectable - even for dog catcher.

5) Community as an organic structure has virtually ceased to exist. The only time we see our neighbors is at highly manipulated 'community' events, over the obligatory, precisely specified fence - or in court.

Losing strategies - playing their game:

1) Waste valuable energy in building formal organizations. In no time the organization will be a pretzel. (see above)

2) Waste valuable energy in trying to battle verbal pretzels. It will only get you exhausted and frustrated. Even if you conclusively prove a point, you'll find that you have to start all over again in the morning.

2) Hitch on to anointed 'leaders', because that obviously implies an organization.1

3) Take a gun and run up the steps of the Capitol (unless a million others just happen to be in the same neighborhood, and are similarly inclined).

Leaderless Resistance = asymmetric warfare:

1) Relax. As the saying goes: "Rome wasn't built in one day". We are talking about a totally paranoid tyrannical borg, who's depending largely on blowing smoke, with a head start of centuries (give or take a few millennia : ).

2) Relax, have a coffee and think about the 'genius' of the scams. You'll soon realize, that any two bit scumbucket could dream them up, were he so inclined (ever been to a board meeting?)

3) Relax, have a cigar (best make it Cuban to avoid paying tribute/taxes), and find ways to express in simple terms the convoluted word salad, used by the 'chosen' experts to describe the act of stealing the shirt of your back (we all heard the senator say: "It's sooo complicated EVEN I don't understand it, but proudly voted for it).

4) Relax, and make it an entertainment to spot the stuff between the lines, and the direction of the overall context (I'm working on a guide to parse words for fun and 'profit'). If you have to engage the opposition, learn how to speak over their head, directly to the gallery. It's easy and very effective. In fact, it's likely the only thing worth learning from them without becoming them.

5) Relax, we are getting to the stunning concept part. Use what comes out of point 3, 4 and your own creativity, on every occasion that presents itself - including, but not limited to Internet forums. Do not over exert yourself (produces errors) and stick with what you know, be confident in your knowledge and always, always be brutally honest.2,5,6

6) Withdraw consent, and encourage others to do the same whenever possible. As mentioned at the start, that concept requires a major discussion in itself.

LR works, because:

Millions of unique approaches towards a common goal cannot be infiltrated nor can they all be subverted. Trying to do so will tire out and deflate the enemy in relatively short order. That is really all we need to accomplish. Leave the murderous hatred to those who do it naturally - it stifles creativity, is exhausting and makes us bitter and hard to get along with, when we most need to get along.

We have to understand, that our adversaries are truly convinced of our inferiority. To them, getting up in the morning for anything other than power, money, status and control (over others), is incomprehensible. Just as with their obsession with 'dear leaders', we have countless ways of turning that pathology to our advantage. Their self-assurance is about as solid as the smoke they blow.3

With this approach, we can discuss background details all day long (obviously not names, places and dates), without leaving the adversary any wiser. In the contrary, it will drive them beyond just being nuts...

Footnotes: )

1. Leaderless, does not preclude role models, focal points or wells of wisdom, but without the cultish crap. If you study historical accounts of successful liberation actions, you will find that the action started broadly, long before the emergence of what would become the official legend in the subsequent accounts. We must not forget, that 'dear leaders' are often designated by our tribalistic adversaries, simply because they cannot function without a figurehead. Witness the consternation, when the Resistance in Iraq did not dissipate after the elimination of Saddam. That limit of cognizance is one of their great weaknesses.

2. Reclaiming some organic sense of community, by talking to your neighbor, friend, acquaintance or coworker/business partners at their level. This is by no means meant in a condescending way. For the most part, I don't subscribe to the "hopeless sheep" idea. I bet most (all?) of us at some point would have fit that description. Your fellow men may be overwhelmed with trying to build a family and a career at the same time. Talking to them about the Protocols is a losing proposition. But, pointing out that disintegration of infrastructure (potholes) grows in a direct relationship to the size of taxes, may just get you going. Not mixing business and politics is bull, the other side does nothing but. It's just a bit more delicate at first.

3. Grimm Brothers, Rumpelstiltzchen. 1812-1815. This classic 'fable' gives a great perspective. Yes, it's for kids (what a great disguise), but big kids can readily see the clarity of analysis, the vulnerabilities and the ultimate outcome.

4. On August 1-2, 1946, some Americans, brutalized by their county government, used armed force as a last resort to overturn it. These Americans wanted honest open elections. For years they had asked for state or federal election monitors to prevent vote fraud (forged ballots, secret ballot counts and intimidation by armed sheriff's deputies) by the local political boss. They got no help. More Suggested by NOLAJBS

5. A practical, contemporary example of a bunch of individuals going off in unpredictable directions (chaos) to end up exposing the nasty 'rendition' flights and the European 'democracies' (and others) who helped along.

6. This thread provides a good example of what one person with a message and an attitude can do on forums anywhere. The ensuing discussion expands on the concept of unique, individual approaches, and demonstrates its efficacy.

7. A citizen from Louisiana writes a letter to his Senators and Representative regarding Obama's proof of US citizenship.

This is meant to be a living document. To thrive, it will depend on your comments and suggestions. From time to time, I will make updates, incorporating relevant comments and suggestions, using mainly the footnote system, with proper credit to the author(s). Version number changes in the title will signal updates. If you feel the text is useful, feel free to post it on other discussion forums, just put a link to, so that everyone can participate in its evolution.

The bad guys are toast - the dogs are in charge!!!

OK everyone. How does one deal with those talmudic dipshits?
Hamas wins the election. Within hours of the announcement, shining lights of humanity pull this 'accidental provocation', knowing Hamas will likely respond, and quickly. Then, we'll have a wall to wall whinefest on the neo-religious high holyday - a.k.a. International Holocaust Remembrance Day - that Hamas is unfit to talk to. Sick bastards. I bet, even the age was carefully selected.
That shit is getting way too old...

Israeli troops shoot dead 9yo girl
From correspondents in Gaza

ISRAELI soldiers have shot dead a nine-year-old Palestinian girl in the Gaza Strip near the border with Israel, Palestinian medics said.

The Israeli army said troops spotted a Palestinian carrying a large bag near the border fence.

After the person did not heed calls to stop while troops fired warning shots in the air, the soldiers shot the Palestinian, an army statement said.

Bush slams Arabic TV

Source: aljazeera

Friday 06 January 2006, 4:38 Makka Time, 1:38 GMT

George Bush, the US president, has criticised Arabic television for giving a false impression of the United States - but admitted that Americans needed to do a better job of communicating their ideals.

Launching a National Security Language Initiative to boost the teaching of foreign languages, Bush said it was a way to help combat the notion that the United States was bullying in imposing its concept of freedom.
"You can't convince people unless you can talk to them," Bush told a State Department audience.
The language initiative, which aims to boost learning of Russian, Chinese, Hindi, Farsi, Arabic and other languages, was part of a strategic plan to protect the United States and spread democracy, Bush said.
"You can't figure out America when you're looking on some of these TV stations - you just can't - particularly given the message that they spread," he said. "Arabic TV does not do our country justice."

"They ... sometimes put out propaganda that just isn't right, it isn't fair, and it doesn't give people the impression of what we're about."
State Department officials said the aim of the plan was to get children involved in learning foreign languages from kindergarten and to fund more programmes through university-level and beyond.
The White House will ask Congress for $114 million in the 2007 budget to initiate the plan, involving a number of agencies including the education and defence departments.

Especially since the September 11 attacks, the Pentagon, CIA and other agencies have bemoaned a shortage of experts in Arabic and other "exotic languages", particularly for translating security information.
"We need intelligence officers who, when somebody says something in Arabic or Farsi or Urdu, know what they're talking about," Bush said.
Memories are still fresh of two messages intercepted from suspected members of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network on 10 September, 2001, that said, "Tomorrow is zero hour", and "The match begins tomorrow". They were translated on September 11 and only given to policy-makers on 12 September.

Good suggestions in the countermeasures chapter

Spying on the US Security State. Countermeasures for US Citizens

Author: John Stanton

Date: 12/27/2005 10:45

Is anyone really surprised that the USA now openly advocates torture, spying on its own citizens, or equates dissent with aiding and abetting the "brutal killers" as Bush describes them?

Whew! Life is imitating art. President Bush stars as Sgt. Bob Barnes, the maniacal soldier in Oliver Stone's Platoon, who proclaims that he "is reality". Vice President Cheney is Dr. Phibes as portrayed by Vincent Price in the movie classic, The Abominable Doctor Phibes. You want torture? Talk to Dr. Phibes. Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld brings to life Colonel Walt Kurtz, the rogue US Army soldier from Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now. American society is modeled on Starship Troopers' militarized society at war with the insects from another galaxy. A great scene in Troopers is a segment which shows children stamping out bugs with glee as the narrator says, "Support the war effort. Do your part to kill the bug!" Welcome to the USA.

Is anyone really surprised that the USA now openly advocates torture, spying on its own citizens, or equates dissent with aiding and abetting the "brutal killers" as Bush describes them? Ummm, should US homegrown serial killers be designated enemy combatants? Who could argue with a clear conscience that the US didn't have 911 coming. Civilians are innocent, the American fundamentalists say. Oh me, oh my, the victimized USA and so much innocence lost on that day. That sentimental dream went out the window long ago with the Allied bombing of Dresden in WWII and the fire-bombing and subsequent use of nuclear weapons against Japan. Add Rwanda and Darfur to that and, right at home, add decades of US government approved racial segregation, plus the US government's response to Katrina and, for that matter, 911. Useless commissions, staged congressional hearings, senseless senses of congress, a presidential press conference. All by formula, of course. What's the point? Nothing changes.

The USA is no victim or innocent bystander in the world's machinations. Each and every US citizen is responsible for the actions of its leaders--such as they are. If the American people want a militarized state, then so be it. Have some brass and go for it. If they want to torture, then they should have the guts to stick a knife in the throat of a living human being and watch'em gurgle and die. The NO TORTURE amendment of John McCain is a joke. The US government is a government by and for loopholes. It'll go on as long as the USA exists.

Of Mice and Evil Doers

Why limit the game to waterboarding or electric shock? Use the Spanish Inquisition era Mouse Trap. Put a bunch of mice into an open metal container and then secure it and them on the abdomen of the evil doer/dissenter. Slowly apply heat to the metal. Mice burrow when they can't run. Use your imagination. The "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave." What nonsense! Special operators are brave, some journalists and citizens are brave, fire fighters and first responders are brave, but most Americans are from the Land of the Cowardly.

The overthrown regimes, the assassinations, the support for murderous regimes, silencing dissidents, eliminating politicians and sanctioning the use of torture and murder of civilians the world over is the standard mode of operations. The leaders of the USA work hard to ensure that they are not charged with war crimes or plain old violation of US law - such as it is. And the American people tolerate it. At the pace the USA is pissing off the rest of the world, expect more 911's.

We have to, in all seriousness, thank Bush and his crew for speaking bluntly about what has been known for so long by so few, but never really exposed. Yes, Americans, your leaders authorize torture, domestic spying, and are adept at creating threats that lead to wars. After all, it's good for business and anyway, how would "you", White Collar Proletariat, know what it takes to keep the gas pumps in operation or what threats are out there. Since most Americans are, as President Nixon once said, "children", they'll do what they are told.

And the President's toys are the US military. There are 18,000 warfighters, those Americans killed, maimed, and mentally demolished in the ongoing Iraq War. And for what? The Shia and Kurds have their day in the historic election in Iraq that puts orthodox Islam in charge and creates a Kurdish state. Good for them. Now the USA cries foul over the election as if it has any democratic authority to do so. Protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States is the military's gig. Yet the high flying generals seem to want to protect individual players rather than the country.

Exceeding the Speed Limit Becomes Terrorism

For a time, US citizens were spared the ruthlessness of the USA's actions abroad primarily because the government and its corporate partners could control the images, the stories, the facts from reaching Americans. Recognizing they've lost that ability, the PATRIOT ACT is a sort of government-corporate last ditch effort to retain control over information flows. Now the security police can whip up a file on you containing credit ratings, health records, spending patterns, reading preferences, travel destinations and even sexual preferences. All you have to do to get tha honor is to get on a watch list by asking a hypothetical question like this, Is there any other way to change the US government-corporate system other than by overthrowing it? Perhaps one day an innovative lawyer will argue that elements of the US government, and its contractors, are engaging in terrorist activity contrary to the PATRIOT ACT. Now wouldn't that be interesting.

Every state in the union has its own version of the PATRIOT ACT and has empowered their own state and local law enforcement departments with "the tools to fight the terror." The day is not far off when speeding will be a terrorist act because it endangers other drivers, pedestrians, and national security, the latter due to the crime of excess fuel usage that could've been used in the War on those insect-like evil doers.

"Forget about it", as Donnie Brasco from the movie of the same name would say. The New York Times or Washington Post report on the NSA/Pentagon's extensive domestic spy network is shocking? And Congress? With its unwillingness to perform its oversight function, departments like Defense, Homeland Security, and Justice are too big to be controlled, too powerful to be stopped from the routine violations of the US Constitution/Bill of Rights. Think about it: the US Congress has become a nuisance to the Presidency and its bureaucracy, and the judicial system. That is a fact. So just Forget About It!

The first and most important countermeasure is to get off your lazy behind and become a responsible US citizen. Instead of being fed the news, hunt it down yourself. Start with foreign newspaper websites, other country news agencies and get used to the images of death and destruction. USA. One of the best data resources is the US government's own data. The CIA Factbook is also an excellent tool. They pull no punches on the weaknesses of each country including the USA. Want to know how many hydrophonic devices are monitoring water conditions in the Gulf of Mexico (lots of oil rigs there too), or sick of the Weather Channel? Go to and do the work yourself. Your taxes paid for it. Why let some actor feed you the weather story on TV when you can get a lot more info from those who really know about what storm is coming your way.

Want to know your odds about getting away with murder? Visit the Justice Department's website and look for statistics on homicides cleared. You'll be surprised that the odds are pretty good on the criminal side of the equation.

Check out US military unit websites like Camp Bondsteel, or the dynamite special operators' website at Hurlburt Air Force Base in Florida. Visit Stars and Stripes. If it's military matters that interest you, there are plenty of bits and pieces of information that can help you paint a picture of what the civilian policy makers are up to. The US military is their tool.

Visit trade association web sites. The US government security masters don't want anyone to know where critical infrastructure is located. No problem. If you want to know where all the nuclear power plants in the USA are - and who owns them, visit the Nuclear Energy Institute at and click on Nuclear Data. While there, visit the whole site. It's very well done. And what about oil and gas pipeline maps? No problem. Visit Duke Energy at and click on the Interactive Asset Map. Many energy companies provide asset maps as do their trade groups. If you've got cash, you can access digital maps that detail all the pipelines, hydroelectric plants and dams in the USA.

There are dozens of superb dataminers running websites that are invaluable in the effort to figure out what the US government-corporate enterprise is up to. They are the 21st Century equivalent of the American Colonist's Committees of Correspondence. There are far too many to list here but three are simply indispensable. Want to know how a member of congress is likely to vote or the stock portfolio they have? Visit and look at the congressperson's campaign contributions and stock holdings. Research yields some interesting results. Want to know when and where US government-corporate groups are meeting to set policy? Visit and check out the Federal Register postings.

Want to know if the media and the two party system is promoting a powerful individual as the voice of America? Take Brent Scowcroft, for example, the American Turkish Council's Board Chair (another site to visit to figure out why the US has so much invested in Turkey - He's the on the good side of the dark side, if there is such a thing in Star Wars. As recently reported, Scowcroft assailed the US Congress for debating the Armenian Genocide because it's bad for business which, as it happens, is national security (meanwhile the Turkish government is prosecuting its top novelist for alluding to the Armenian Genocide - so much for democracy there). Ole Brent is portrayed as such a caring fellow by the media, yet it turns out that Mr. Nice Guy was complicit with Henry Kissinger, et al, in providing support to the Indonesian government during the invasion and occupation of East Timor from 1975-1999. Thanks to the National Security Archive at, the world knows that Scowcroft is as ruthless as they come.

If you really want to know about national security, join a defense association like the National Defense Industrial Association ( Each year they sponsor a special operations/low intensity conflict (SO/LIC) conference, exhibition and awards dinner. Embassy officials (Intel types), DOD officials, media members and active duty US/Foreign military and their contractors show up to give the attendees the latest on SO/LIC matters. It's a most excellent production by the NDIA staff who run the event. There are dozens of presentations dealing with civil-military relations, psyops, tactics, etc. Conference proceedings can be had right off the Net.

What can't be had. though, though is the happy hour off-the-record (OTR) conversations in the hotel lounge or the exhibition hall. The awards dinner features commendations read aloud for active special operators for their "classified" activity all over the world (well deserved, they should be recognized). The certificate presentations sometimes tip the hat as to where the operations have taken place.

Want to know about counterinsurgency technology? Go to The folks at the Technical Support Working Group hate publicity and despise those who question the US government-corporate rule of law, but they are to be respected for fielding technologies that help save the lives of the warfighters who are being sacrificed for the delusional schemes of the governing apparatus.

There are dozens of defense related associations in the DC Metro area and many have chapters nationwide and overseas - among them are: NDIA, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), The Navy League, Old Crows, Association of Former Intelligence Officials (AFIO), and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Association (AUVA). They all perform studies and reports that are available on the Net or for free or a small fee.

Most have monthly publications that exclude politics providing just nuts and bolts commentary on the tradecraft. The dirty little secret about the mainstream press is that they comb through the trade publications to get their next story on US military policy or technology. They know that the trade associations tell Congress what to think and often house former government officials or future ones. The associations have a lot of clout and insider information.

Don't Just Sit IN Front of the CRT

Good, solid information is to be had frequenting pubs near the agency/issue you are exploring. For defense/Intel purposes, pubs near military-Intel sites are the home of raucous debate coming from greybeard warfighters to those of the present day. Respect doesn't come easy but once earned, the information flow is grand. It's all strictly OTR and, if you're partial to friendly argument and good cheer - and sometimes heart wrenching stories - it's the place to learn more about what you are not supposed to know of operations past and present.

Finally, don't get emotional. "Use the dark side..." How far would you go to save your own life, your residence, your job, your children, your wife/girlfriend - husband/boyfriend? That's pretty much the operational mentality of your leaders - such as they are.

Will Americans become responsible US citizens? Will they restructure the US government? Will they return to the practice of public executions and torture? Will they destroy or engage the world?

Find out at a theater near you. It's as close to reality as you'll get.
