Consider the fact that we came through on past requests: flagging and self-search feature.

This is not Diebold. Your vote counts here.  :)

Added: Also included was the ignore feature.

Hi Nolajbs,

I think you have a great site and you all have made such excellent improvements
here, making it more user-friendly. I have no problems navigating here and I like
to pop in, here and elsewhere.

All I need is more time. Looking after my granddaughter on and off, keeps me busy.
I don't even get much time to check my flags at LF like I used to. But I do come by,
even if LF is not down.

I pop in here regularly as part of a routine, even if I don't post anything. However, I've been absent for about 3 months during the summer and early autumn as I've been incredibly distracted by other things, for which I partly blame my chaotic time management.

Hi Beo... lucky nolajbs, no one ever sneaks into my back door to do dishes, and the people
ringing my door bell all want money.

Very nice. Always LOVED the markup here and the other features are great.

With therapy and pills I hope to post here the majority of the time.

Thank you sushigirl. I didn't think navigation was a real issue, but I've heard complaints about it in the past. I think that the more time spent here, the easier it is to bounce around.

Time is a necessary evil for and against all of us. When we are busy, we think we are productive until all the things we want to say and do fall by the way side. At that point, time is evil - a thief in the night. Since the flags are not built in to some sort of list, I often forget to flag certain people to some of the posts. My flagging list has not been updated since the first month it was created. Although I could blame it all on time, I think it has something to do with me not having any idea who will visit. The relevancy of the posts tend to slip away from the current issues. Me posting this survey is my attempt to take out all the guess work. Now that LibertyForum is back online, I'll take note of who comes and will resurrect and maintain my flag list.

So far, the number one reason why people don't stay is that the numbers aren't there yet ... but I'll keep trying.  :)

There's that time management thing again. Try a digital calendar of some sort, something that appeals to you. If you have a PDA, it can be synced. If not, whatever OS you use has a calendar component built in. If you like chaos, never mind. :D

Slow and steady never lost the race, besides it is easier to control with a slower solid core build.

Over time you have done an excellent job on building up this site.  Sometimes there is less action here true, but when the chips are down, people come back.

Stay the course man, and thank you for the opportunity!! :)
In this media blitz we call cyberspace, clever poseurs on all levels claim that it’s not Jews, it’s Zionists; it’s not Jews, it’s Neocons; it’s not Jews, it’s Communists; it’s not Jews, it’s the Illuminati. All these labels are synonyms for Judaism, which is not really a religion, but a crime scheme

I voted #1.. had been busy for awhile, and am not in the habit of visiting here(or LF), you should send out the global e-mails more often  ;) a message maybe once a month or every other week might help to keep people coming back as well, like a subliminal reminder. Maybe fill it with an overview of Ron Paul campaign news and a brief mention of one or two other important but under-reported news items coupled with a link to a post here on the subject. Such as the neocon escort thing on the main page for example.

thats always been sort of a catch-22 around here--we have lots of 'potential members' but none of them post regularly...because none of them post regularly.
if all of the people who visit once in a while but dont stick around due to lack of forum activity, actually stuck around and made a go of it here, this place would be humming all the time.
but, to tell you the truth, im content with things the way they are. that whole business about leading horses to water, and all that.

The site has really come around...in some respects I feel guilty, only posting if LF is down.

If it was my site, I'd feel a little used. But you have to keep in mind, having your site available is invaluable. People post where their friends and the action is...and something tells me this place is going to get busier with each passing day.

Just saying I appreciate your work.

The lack of desire to post at NOLAJBS, imho, comes from several factors:

1) The name.  As I've recommended strongly in the past, you should change the domain name to "www.freedomcell.com/org/info/net".  Too much baggage comes with "JBS."

2) The initial brouhaha which allowed Nick & his Donkey + "gjenkins" + others to remain here and disparage the site (and me).

3) The Rachel1958 clusterfuck.  (FYI: She's now posting at LF as "Dahlia"somethingorother.  Why the Admins don't toss her out is beyond me.)

4) Most importantly: The overt (in a good way) anti-Zionist aspect of this forum has a lot of milquetoast posters--the Entertainment crowd: Football and brews--nervous as to posting here regularly.

As I've always recommended, this site should be geared toward activism.  Getting things done.  Talk is fine...but there are a jillion places to talk.

My $.02.

Also: I'd recommend that it is time to open the sum-total board to lurkers.  For some gutless reason, people don't want to actually sign up in order to View.

There shd be a Zero-Tolerance policy, tho., as to Members who post-simply-to-deride.  Two strikes, and yer out.

I agree. One shouldn`t have to find out what the name and url of a website means; it should be as self-explanitory as possible. The name should also generally indicate the purpose of the website, IMO.
