History in the "making".

UN condemns holocaust denial
Up to 1.5 million people are believed to have
died at Auschwitz alone [AP]

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution condemning denials of the Holocaust.

The resolution on Friday came weeks after Iran sponsored a meeting dominated by speakers questioning whether six million Jews really were exterminated during the Second World War.

The operative part of the resolution has only two paragraphs. It "condemns without any reservation any denial of the Holocaust" and "urges all member states unreservedly to reject any denial of the Holocaust as a historical event, either in full or in part, or any activities to this end."

The resolution, co-sponsored by 103 countries, was approved by consensus, without a vote.

It received almost as many co-sponsors as a broader measure adopted in November 2005 which made January 27 the International Day of Commemoration for victims of the Holocaust.

Tehran conference

Iran disassociated itself from the US-drafted resolution and called it a political exercise.

Iran is not mentioned by name in the resolution but it is clearly a response to the Tehran conference convened in December by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Many speakers at the event expressed doubt about the Nazis' mass extermination of Jews.
"We must strengthen our resolve to prevent such atrocities, whenever and wherever they might occur."

Sheikha Haya Rashed al-Khalifa, UN General Assembly president
Hossein Gharibi, an Iranian envoy to the United Nations, told the assembly: "In our view there is no justification for genocide of any kind, nor can there be any justification for the attempt made by some - particularly by the Israeli regime - to exploit the past crimes as a pretext to commit new genocide and crimes."

In response, Dan Gillerman, Israel's ambassador to the UN, said: "While the nations of the world gather here to affirm the historicity of the Holocaust with the intent of never again allowing genocide, a member of this assembly is acquiring the capabilities to carry out its own."

"The president of Iran is in fact saying, 'There really was no Holocaust, but just in case, we shall finish the job,'" he added.

Up to 1.5 million prisoners, most of them Jews, are killed in the Auschwitz extermination camp alone.

Six million Jews and millions of other people including Poles, homosexuals, Russians and Gypsies are said to be murdered by the Nazis and their allies during the war.

Sheikha Haya Rashed al-Khalifa of Bahrain, the General Assembly president, told the 192 members that the resolution showed "we must strengthen our resolve to prevent such atrocities, whenever and wherever they might occur."

Well there we are folks, we are witnesses to history in the making ... literally. In a vote in the UN bureaucrats who are unelected and represent not their constituents but their govt/corporate masters have decided on historical "truth". No doubt they all have a degree in history from accredited universities.

This should cement the prison walls of logic in place and continue the progrom against anyone who may harbor doubts about the "official" history. We have now been handed the "authorized" version from our public "servants", those who produce and contribute nought to nations. By virtue of appointment they have been blessed with enlightenment and deeper insights into past truths than the common man. Stay tuned for a special ceremony in which this august body of wannabe potentates are endowed with honorary degrees in history from Tel Aviv University.

Of course, according to the 'Israelis', General Assembly resolutions have no standing or significance 99 out of 100 times; only the Security Council counts, and then only if the chicken bones read in just the right way - this one counts...

The resolution, co-sponsored by 103 countries, was approved by consensus, without a vote.

Anyone remember how the "International Day of Commemoration for victims of the Holocaust" was 'adopted'? Yep, Friday, by consensus, on 'president's privilege', meaning no one knew it would be coming up for a non-vote (except a few blessed members) - no quorum required. The Iranians obviously stuck around; probably getting the hint from the FreeWorld Noahides hanging around for a virtually deserted Friday meeting.

It is in fact meaningless (it condemns and urges), except that it gives Lantos & Co. huge cover to get the USCorp 'laws' into compliance with 'historicity' - it's all about US...

My thought on this move exactly. As the Iranians have said, this is purely a political move...to discredit (if there was any credibility) to the recent Tehran conference and, from our viewpoint domestically, as a means to discredit (charge, chill & jail) the opponents of Zionism, who have, in many cases, arrived at their position through investigation of the historical veracity of the so-called Holocaust.

Oh, now isn't this just a big surprise!  These jokers get such a kick out of the holocaust don't they?  Now it's going to be mandated that everyone follow lock and step with manufactured history.  Gee, and they say that the Protocols of Zionism is a hoax.  What a roaring laugh!  They planned this, and are implementing it for their "Super Government", yet it's a forged document?  It's the only one that I know of that has 100% accuracy.
Well, I guess we're all doomed.   :D

Here's another thread with video of Noam Chomsky getting caned for defending Robert Faurissons right to question history.

Watching Chomsky back down is instructive. If the main stream accepted "nutter of the left" can be silenced...what does that make us?
