Pope Francis reportedly avoids opposing homosexuals becoming priests

Pope Francis gets on board a plane at an air force base in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 29, 2013.

The spiritual leader of Roman Catholic Christians, Pope Francis, has reportedly avoided opposing the priesthood of male homosexual individuals.

In remarks, seen as “clear[ing] the way for gay priests,” the Pope said, “If a person is gay, seeks God and has goodwill, who am I to judge?” adding, “They should not be marginalized.”

The pontiff made the remarks in response to a question during a flight back to Rome from a week-long visit to Brazil on Monday.

Despite his apparently conciliatory remarks about homosexual priests, the Pope insisted that “the door is closed” for women to become priests. He emphasized, however, that women should have a greater role within the church.

Pope Francis’ comments differ remarkably from the previous popes, including his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI, who signed a document in 2005 ruling that men who had homosexual tendencies should not be allowed to become priests.

The Roman Catholic Church has been hit by numerous scandals in the United States and Europe over the past few years, involving allegations of covering up sexual abuse of children by priests to protect the pedophiles in the Church and the Church’s own reputation.

RW - The headline should read "Pope Francis reportedly avoids reading the bible". But who am I to judge? The church has become a sad joke and if one is seeking God I wouldn't recommend it.

The Christian World appears to be divided.

Recognizing same-sex unions brings us closer to apocalypse' - Head of Russian Orthodox Church

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.(RIA Novosti / Sergey Pyatakov)

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill sees the recognition of same-sex unions by Western countries as a portent of doom. He called upon Russians to ensure that sin is never formalized by the rule of law.

"We face enormous temptations when countries start approving sin and codifying it into law in order to justify it,” Itar-Tass quoted the patriarch as saying after the Sunday service in the Kazan Cathedral on Red Square.

Those who follow their conscience and “fight such laws imposed by the minority are subjected to repressions,” he added.

Kirill urged Russians to ensure that sin is never formalized in the rule of law.

“This is a very dangerous apocalyptic symptom, and we must do everything in our powers to ensure that sin is never sanctioned in Russia by state law, because that would mean that the nation has embarked on a path of self-destruction,” Kirill stated.

The patriarch pointed out that people have been convinced that the only value is the freedom of choice and no one has the right to infringe on that “even when a person chooses evil or a socially dangerous behavior.”

The Patriarch called upon Russians to fight for freedom from sins. “Where sin is elected through freedom, there comes death, terror and dictatorship,” Kirill said.

He asked people to pray for the future of the country to prevent “the slavery of sin” that leads to the “self-destruction of the nation”.

Patriarch Kirill led a church service in Moscow on Sunday that honored the Icon of Our Lady of Kazan, one of the most revered relics in Russia. The liturgy took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan on Red Square, which has a copy of the revered icon.

The topic of same-sex unions has been heatedly debated in Russia. On June 30 Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a controversial law strengthening the penalties for “propagating homosexuality among minors”.

The so-called ‘gay propaganda’ introduces fines for propaganda of non-traditional sex relationships to minors, including in the media, on the internet and via viral adverts.

Under the controversial law, holding LGBT rallies is now prohibited, as well as the distribution of information aimed at informing children of non-traditional sexual concepts.  The bill also prohibits the “obtrusive spreading of information about non-traditional sexual relationships that may arouse interest in such relationships.”

Gay rights activists in Russia and abroad deemed the bill “anti-gay”. In a statement on GayRussia.eu, a Russian gay-rights activist wrote that Putin violated Russia’s international obligations by signing the law.

Earlier this year, in April, Vladimir Putin faced hundreds of protesters ranging from gay rights activists to a topless feminist group during his visit to Germany and the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, over a thousand gay rights activists picketed outside his meeting with Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

However, according to a recent poll conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Center (VTSIOM) in June, 88 per cent of Russians supported the amendments to the law; only 7 per cent said they are against. 54 per cent staid that homosexuality should be banned and be criminalized.

The Christian World appears to be divided.

The christian world has always been divided. The main divide has been between the Orthodox Church and the Roman Church. However the position of the Orthodox Church on homosexuality is based on the teachings of the new testament. As well, unlike the Catholic and Protestant Churches, there are no jews running the Orthodox Church. I'm no fan of religion but if we're going to discuss the subject then it is clear that adherence to the bible would be the litmus test of faith here, and as far as I can see western Christianity has failed that test.

I'll give you a brief rundown of a story I read in an Italian Catholic publication: I don't have the link now, but I'll try to dig it up...

Pope Francis, on the 'advice' of certain Roman insider priest appointed a certain priest to head up the Vatican Bank, which has been having problems.

Well, when the news got out about his choice, certain righteous priest in Rome and in Vatican officialdom got extremely upset, because this priest was a known homo who was involved in various scandals and had been demoted years ago...But this fag wormed his way back up the ladder.

It seems this homo priest was the main bishop in Montevideo Uraguay, which is just across the river from Buenos Aires, where Francis served as a bishop...Apparently this priest was living there openly with a Swiss guy, his lover, for like 5 years, on the Church's dime...There were many complaints, but they were ignored, until this 'bishop' got his ass kicked trolling outside of one of Montevideo's main fag bars...When this happened, the good ones in the Church moved, got him kicked out, and his lover was arrested by Uraguayan police and deported...The 'bishop' was disgraced, but not 'defrocked', and, after a few years in exile, started rebuilding his 'career' with the help of homos in the curia.

Allegedly, Francis was unaware of all of this, and appointed him to clean up the Vatican bank...Then the story came out again, and supposedly Francis put the appointment on hold and is investigating.

When questioned about this by Italian reporters, Pope Francis reportedly said : 'Yes, I am the Pope, but I have found out that there are many bosses other than me in the Church'.

A rep from World Jewry must've called a threat in against the Vatican Bank or was going to roll out some new allegations in the news.  So, this is the way to appease.  Only surprise is that reports are using the term, "homosexual."  Gays had been insulated by the liberal, Jew-controlled media.

Gays have been elevated to a special status culturally by the media and legally by government. The pope who fails to uphold God's judgement in his holy book is now elevating them morally.

Meanwhile all you white boys out there, prepare to be demonized by the media, prosecuted for homophobia by government and treated like moral lepers by the Pope and his satanic church.

Guys, let me interject here:

The vast majority of Catholics, including priests and bishops, do the work of Christ by administering to the flock whether in matters of education, morals or economics...The problems occurring in the Church simply reflect the problems in society at large.

The big error occurs when a Pope doesn't address problems directly and in a clear manner...Homosexuality should be named as a sin and against nature, monetary corruption should be named as a sin of greed and avarice, and the sin of aggressive wars should be described clearly.

When a Pope shirks his duty in these matters, he blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, the only sin that will not be forgiven.

So, while I will forgive this new Pope many things, I cannot forgive his caving in to these basic Christian values...If he refuses to at least state the obvious, he judges himself.

Christians have been martyrs throughout the ages, so why be afraid now when we have numbers and the truth on our side?

Biden all but said that the Jews, who control the media, led this effort.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2013/05/22/biden-jewish-leaders-helped-gay-marriage-succeed/

Of course he kissed their feet, while doing so.

Quote
“I bet you 85 percent of those changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry,” he said. “The influence is immense, the influence is immense. And, I might add, it is all to the good. ”

The vice president also praised Jewish contributions to science, immigration reform, the civil-rights movement, the arts, the law and to feminism.

“I think you vastly underestimate the impact you’ve had on the development of this nation,” he said. “We’re a great country because of the contributions and most importantly because of Jewish heritage and the values you brought.”

Isn't it something?  25 years ago, this clown was a plagiarist with no prayer of attaining higher office.  Now he's "a heart beat away."

On 2nd thought, it's not really something.  The last VP, Cheney, licked Jew ass, as well.

Anti-Pope Francis is the first Pope to not be a valid priest, as he was ordained in Paul VI's invalid rite of ordination, he is merely a laymen.

His actions also fulfill the prophecy of St. Malachy, "To feed the sheep until the final judgement.", all francis ever talks about is feeding the poor.
Revelation 3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.
