I would hope this is just a rumor but if not then getting the word out will help prevent it from happening.

Steven M. Crimando, MA, BCETS, is the Managing Director of Extreme Behavioral Risk Management, LLC.  He is a clinician and educator specialized in crisis intervention, disaster recovery, and traumatic event response. He has been conferred the status of Diplomate of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. He also holds Level III Certification in Homeland Security through the American College of Forensic Examiners International, where he serves as the Vice Chairman for the Division of Forensic Counseling.  He serves as a consultant and trainer for the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Emergency Management Agency and United Nations, and is a faculty member at the Rutgers University Center for Management Development.

Steven has addressed professional audiences at major conferences on such topics as: “The Psychological Consequences of Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism”, “Workplace Violence Intervention and Response”, “Debriefing Strategies Applied During Downsizing”, “Community Response to Disaster” and “CQI/TQM Methods in The War Room”.

Steven has been featured in the New York Times and New Jersey Monthly magazine for his work with organizations in crisis, and has appeared on Fox TV’s Montel Willaims Show and Fox News Channel, ABC-TV’s World News Tonight, NBC-TV’s Evening News, MSNBC-TV’s InterNight, and numerous regional television and radio programs to address a variety of crisis-related topics.

Steven holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and  has post-graduate training in Clinical Psychology from Seton Hall University, in addition to dual undergraduate degrees in Human Development and Public Relations from Syracuse University. He has been called upon as an expert witness in crisis-related litigation and has written and published numerous articles addressing the human-factor in crisis management and disaster recovery.
