$140G Horse Flying on El Al Plane Arrives Dead at JFK
« on: July 17, 2011, 06:45:55 PM »
New York, NY - A $140,000 horse being flown from Belgium to JFK didn’t make it to the finish line alive.

The pony was discovered dead at a JFK cargo facility shortly after its flight landed, sources told The Post.

The 1-year-old had been among 10 horses on El Al Flight 831. He started “kicking forcefully” in his pen about 30 minutes after takeoff from Liége Airport but calmed down only to die a short time later, a source said.

* The ecstasy pills got through ok however.

Does EL-AL have the same priviliges in the US as they do in Europe ?

In the netherlands for example dutch custom service is not allowed to control any of their freight. They are literally above the law.
They fly with white unmarked planes.
This banning system obviously needs some work..
