Does Sitchin know the language of Sumerians?

According to him, he does.  The resulting theories make more sense than the major religions.

Amazing, where did these people learn a dead language, how come we don't have an English Sumarian dictionary?

There weren't that many surviving tablets.  The writing was like, and seems to be a precursor to, Egyptian hieroglyphics, with rudimentary drawings, so there was something to go by.  It's very interesting, and it doesn't at all seem to be a jew hoax like some people have called it, likely because Stitchen's background was that he was a scholar in ancient Hebrew and live in Israel for a while.  The theory is that Hebrew, Persian, Assyrian, Eqyptian, and Mayan cultures were vestiges of Babylonian culture (mother of all cultures, so to speak), which was Sumerian-based.  Stitchen worked backwards on this idea, and pieced it together the best he could.  Then he used modern astronomy to confirm a lot of things.

Which parts do you agree with?
AN = heaven , bible = On  Hindu - Om
KI = earth
Old testament refers to these as Annukim.
Anunuki  - From heaven to earth

What parts to I agree with - read his books to find out.

Not to cause discord and be a jerk but I have seen this self reinforcing behavior by "humans came from pond scum crowd" like me ferric and m theory.

AA writes of the messiah myth in ZZ culture. BB writes of a messiah myth in YY culture citing AA's writing on the now apparent behavior of messiah myth creation.  Repeat...

Sticking to the facts there is no first hand evidence that the myth is a myth.

"I challenge how anyone cracked the code to translate of the Annunaki language."

Stitchin or his follower should cite how this translation was done.

If Planet X is rockin' don't come a knockin'

Once more Namtar was sent up to Anu. Ereshkigal's message was clear:

        I, thy daughter, was young;
I have not known the play of maidens...
That god whom you didst send,
and who had intercourse with me -
Send him to me, that he may be my husband,
That he might lodge with me.

With married life perhaps not yet on his mind, Nergal organized a military expedition and stormed the gates of Ereshkigal, intending to "cut off her head."

 But Ereshkigal pleaded:

"Be thou my husband and I will be thy wife.
I will let thee hold dominion
        over the wide Lower Land.
I will place the Tablet of Wisdom in thy hand.
Thou shalt be Master, I will be Mistress."
And then came the happy ending:D reminds me of gag youtube about massage parlors
        When Nergal heard her words,
He took hold of her hand and kissed her,
        Wiping away her tears:
"What thou hast wished for me
since months past - so be it now!"

Are movies to create false realities, or are they to destroy real ones?

Indeed.  Or revealed messages.

I don't understand orbits.  Where is the energy source and the control system of an orbit of A around B?

The way I get the Sumerian and Planet X story, X swept through one time and collided and made Earth and Moon yet it returns to its previous orbit.

hrmm Unless X's mass is so large it bulldozed through without changing its orbit.  This would cause other logic problems though.

It's dumb to think you know how Dec 2012 will play out.  It's smart to prepare for the possibilities.

Very wise advice Wag. But which possibilities?
Truth extends beyond the border of self-limiting science. Free discourse among opposing viewpoints draws the open-minded away from the darkness of inevitable bias and nearer to the light of universal reality.

The ones that are real possibilities.

There is no denying that Stitchin has value.  But in reading his stuff I have come to the conclusion that he's not considering enough possibilities.  He never considers the possibility of a hollow Earth, which would explain a lot more of his Sumerian translations.

There's also a quote in Genesis Revisited, where see implies a polarity of good-bad, with Einstein the good, Hitler the bad.  But maybe that was an editor addition, who knows.
