Unfortunately time flies Jacob....  :P

The new currency must be 'commodity based'  ... not Fiat paper ...... so it needs to be stored   ...... and you can use chickens, pork bellies, lumber, oil, gold, diamonds, etc, and store them at Fort Knox.

This isn't rocket science.....  the commodity must be stored, be a universal grade, be able to be used as coinage, etc etc. Picture 4,000,000 chickens shitting all over Fort Knox. Or going to the mall with a red wagon full of squawking chickens.

GOLD is the only reasonable answer

Yep, that is what I believe too.
"At any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed all right-thinking people will accept without question. It is not exactly forbidden to state this or that or the other, but it is "not done".
...Anyone who challenges the prevailing orthodoxy finds himself silenced with.

As the greenback tumbles, naturally gold will move in exactly the opposite direction, they say to approx. $1,500 in 2011. We'll see.

@ 40,000 per ounce, you would need a wheelbarrow full of worthless green backs to buy a loaf of bread and God knows what the price of gasoline will be going for.

I think before gold reaches such dizzy heights, we will have probably have a Global Currency. And you-know-who will make sure of it.

$40,000 an ounce is a simple equation  .... take all the money and de\bt and divide it by the gold
