You're over my head now.

But concerning the architecture, Rand is irrelevant.  Modern American urban architecture is disfunctional and ice cold.  The only good thing they have going is that it takes an expert and a lot of explosives to bring one down.

There's a good book on timeless architecture, "A Pattern Language".
